This is due to the ongoing upward trend in domain prices that has been seen in the market for the past few years. Verisign, the authority in charge of .COM domains, has raised prices for three years in a row. Other major registries with a significant market share have followed this trend. We have tried our best to adjust our pricing in the most cost-effective way possible in order to maintain a good balance between service quality and competitive pricing. We will adjust both the wholesale and the retail prices ensuring that the pre-defined profit margin for a specific TLD is preserved. End customers with domain names on affected TLDs will be charged the new prices upon renewal. Recurring contracts will be adjusted within 7 days of the price change.
